After a wonderful weekend of adoption education classes in Amherst, NY. with Adoption STAR, we are even more eager to continue taking steps toward our dream of having a child.
We took classes on an array of topics such as: Legal, Openness and Birth/Adoptive Parent Relationship, Parenting an Adoptive Child. We are now even more confident that this is the right direction for us. Our Home Study paperwork is in and awaiting review. The next step will be interviews and a walk through of our home.
