Honoring Our Hero

So proud and honored to meet up with Annie's grandfather - Papaw in DC yesterday. He served in the Army during the Korean War and had never been to the Capitol. It was a joy to see him and so many veterans be acknowledged for their service and dedication. Truly grateful for such an experience. We toured the Korean Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial and enjoyed private tour of the Capitol. The day was topped off with a great dinner hosted by the local Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts. Thank you to Heroes Flight and the Brookshires Grocery Store Family for taking such great care of Papaw and for your generosity in including us.
