We Can't Wait For You To Find Us

With the nursery ready and the paperwork in, we have turned our focus back toward the most important part of this adventure - YOU. Somewhere there is a precious little baby growing into our future child. 

Little one, we want you to know how much you are already loved. We catch ourselves smiling throughout the day at the very thought of you. You have engulfed our world. We wonder what it will be like to get the call that your birthmother has chosen us to be your parents. We're so nervous! What will your birth family think about us? Will they like us? What kind of relationship will we have with them? 

Hopefully, we will meet your parents before you are born. But if not, we hope to get to know them along the way. We want to think of your birth family as our extended family. 

You will have so many people in love with you!

Sweet baby, wherever you are, it is only a matter of time before you find your way into our arms. There is a lifetime of kisses, snuggles and adventures waiting for you.

Goat Milk Formula

When considering how we will feed our new little one, we have discovered that there are tons of formula options. How do you choose? 

A requirement of our Home Study (process which qualifies us to adopt) is that we interview and find a pediatrician that is familiar with the adoption process.

And after speaking with our future pediatrician, we are hoping to use a home made goat milk formula. Of course much will depend on what our little one prefers. But we wanted to share a couple of articles from Dr. Sears regarding the benefits of goat milk formula as well as the formula recipe we hope to use.
